In February 2013, U.S. retail sales were approximately $376.33 billion per this source. That's an annual rate of $4.5 trillion per year. Amazon's latest 12 months sales per their reports here, were $61 billion. Simple math: 61/4500 = 1.35%. So, its safe to say, Amazon does have room to grow.
